Welcome to the Heavy Equipment Operator Training area at CICB.com! The objective of CICB's Heavy Equipment Training Programs is to vividly impress upon the students the necessity for safety in all aspects of heavy equipment operations and procedures. The safety standards reviewed in detail include graphic illustrations of the personal and economic dangers inherent in heavy equipment operations. The step-by-step progression of this training is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills to become a safe and professional operator.

Types of equipment covered include bulldozers, self-propelled scrapers, track and wheel mounted front end loaders, excavators, rollers and compactors, motor graders, trenchers, asphalt pavers, dump trucks, refuse trucks, tractor/trailer lo-boys, combination backhoe-loaders, sewer pump trucks, etc. Students who successfully complete our Programs are awarded CICB's Competency Certification."

Thank you for your interest in our Heavy Equipment Operator Training Program. We offer two certificate programs: Certificate in Heavy Equipment Operation, which requires a placement test at one of our main campuses, passing a drug test, and three general education classes. The other is a Career Studies Certificate in Heavy Equipment Operation, which requires passing a drug test. Both classes have the same equipment and course content.

The classes are 15 credit hours each and the tuition is $1,329.75 for in-state students and $3,957.50 for out-of-state students. Books and supplies for students attending the program for the first time will be $116.73.
